The UK’s best 20 views are in!

As much as we like to travel, have you ever stopped to think what gems you might be missing right on your doorstep?

A survey by Samsung has revealed the UK’s top 20 views as voted by 2,500 respondents and although I haven’t seen all of them, I couldn’t agree more with the number one spot.

The view from summit of Mount Snowdon, Wales topped the list and I was lucky enough to be there last week on one of the hottest days of the year so far.

Wales’ highest mountain definitely exceeded expectations and being just over 4 hours from London by car (on a clear run of course) it’s easily achievable in a weekend. Unfortunately, unexpected car issues cut our trip short – apparently cam belts don’t last forever – meaning we weren’t able to climb neighboring, lesser known Tryfan the following day, although I definitely plan to return.
